Everyone is welcome
Bideford Pride returned in 2024 and again in 2025 with the vision of providing a day of celebration and love for the LGBTQ+ Community across North Devon.
Both were a huge success and we hope to continue improving and growing the event for years to come!
The event is arranged and staged by a small group of volunteers, members of the LGBTQ+ Community and allies alike.

Why I volunteer for Bideford Pride - I love attending Pride events so I want us to have a brilliant local Pride to show that North Devon actually has a vibrant queer community!

Why I volunteer for Bideford Pride - Its important to me to support the queer community and play a part in ensuring all young people feel safe to be who they are.
My superpower: Coming up with ambitious ideas and convincing others we can pull them off!

Why I volunteer for Bideford Pride - After many years in local government & the civil service it's good to focus my time and talents on supporting the local LGBT+ community and creating amazing, inclusive events.
My superpower: The speed with which I can make cheese and wine disappear!

Why I volunteer for Bideford Pride - I volunteer so I can celebrate the queer community and lead by example in the fight for equality and equity for all.
